SLA 3D printing is a widely used additive printing technology. Photosensitive resin is the only material used for production. It is widely used in industrial parts, automotive industry, home appliances, medical, education, construction, ceramics, animation and other industries. Today I'm going to cover six of the most popular and representative photosensitive resins at JS ADD. They are all developed and produced in-house.
1.White ABS resin
White ABS resin is the most popular SLA resin for accurate, detailed parts, perfect for testing model designs to ensure proper structure and function before full production. It produces white ABS like parts with accurate, durable and moisture
resistant features. It's ideal for prototyping and functional testing, saving time, money and material during product development.
2.Brown ABS resin
Brown ABS Resin is a brown photosensitive resin used to create precise and detailed parts. It has a fine texture, high temperature resistance, and high strength, and is specially developed for printing quick molds for shoe molds/sole masters and PU shoe soles, and is also popular in the dental, art design, statue, animation, and film industries.
3.Yellow ABS resin
Yellow ABS Resin A high toughness photosensitive resin used to make precise and durable parts. It has all the advantages and convenience of white ABS resin, but is stronger, more temperature resistant, and has a pale yellow color. It has a wide range of applications and is ideal for functional prototypes, conceptual models and low-volume production parts in automotive, architectural and electronics applications.
4.Transparent PMMA resin
Clear PMMA resin is an optically clear, photosensitive resin that quickly produces clear, functional and precise parts with an acrylic look. It is fast to manufacture and easy to use. Ideal applications include transparent components, bottles, tubing, automotive, lenses, lighting components, fluid flow analysis, and more.
5.Flexible Rubber Resin
Rubber-like resin is a white, flexible 光敏resin with features of high toughness, high elasticity and soft touch. It's ideal for printing shoe prototype, rubber wrap, biomedical model and other rubber like parts.
6. High temperature resistant resin
High Temperature Resin is a translucent colored, low viscosity, high temperature resistant photosensitive resin. Prints are resistant to temperatures of around 120°C and transient temperatures of over 200°C. It has excellent dimensional stability and fine surface detail. With good dimensional stability and fine surface detail, it is the perfect solution for parts requiring heat and moisture resistance and is also suitable for rapid prototyping.
