SLA as one of the 3d printing technology, is invented and put into use relatively late compared to other technologies. But it has got so much attention from 3d printing service providers from all over the world.
Owing to its high accuracy and producing features like hardness on models, this technology has been used in most of the countries. And today, let’s take a look at how the SLA 3d printing process is.
1.Preparation stage
Before starting, the work area needs to be filled with the right amount of liquid photopolymer.
2.Computer-controlled
The layer thickness height of the platform and the liquid level is controlled by a computer program to ensure the exact thickness of each layer
3.Laser scanning
The laser spot scans point by point along the liquid surface in a pre-set route, and the liquid resin in the exposed area quickly solidifies into a solid state.
4.Layer upon layer
The curing platform lowers the appropriate layer thickness height, and then scans and solidifies the next layer of cross-section, and so on until the layers are stacked to form the entire three-dimensional solid.
